In the Moët kitecup on 9th August in Knokke-Heist, Belgium with many strong Belgium and Dutch riders and difficult conditions ABoards Kiteboarding teamrider Christophe Tack made 3rd place finish in freestyle.
The forecast was quite uneasy – offshore and very gusty wind from about 26 knots. The competition took place in 2 rounds. Each round had a session of around 40 minutes. In the first round Christophe had nice heat where he nailed flat 3, flat 5, tailgrabbed back to blind with a pop out, railey to blind with a pop out and a low mobe.
In the second round with wind picking up heavy gusts Christophe went in for 10minutes and did a kiteloop 3, a totaly insane blind judge 3 with his kite super low and a really low mobe. At the moment Christophe is in good spirits and preparing for upcoming PKRA Germany.
