SPI Kite Round-Up’09 ABoards Z-series long jump event

On the 2nd day of South Padre Island Kite Round-Up ABoards Z-series Long Jump contest was held. Competitors battled in 3 categories – men, women, masters. Putting out spectacular wipe-outs and setting powered up long distance marks in a fierce competition the winners were determined. This years prize 2009 model ABoards Kiteboarding Z-series freeride/freestyle board with SFLS Atmosphere went to Gary Rhodes!

SPI Kite Round-Up is a 10 days kite & fun dedicated event hosted in South Padre island that is a great kiting spot with flat water and wave spots located in close proximity (www.spikiteroundup.com). Event has become internationally recognized with participants from USA, Europe and other parts of the world. Wind Riders kite school with ABoards Kiteboarding on Lake Garda, Italy

ABoards Kiteboarding is happy to announce cooperation with Wind Riders kite school that will open 1st of April on Lake Garda in Italy. Location of the school is selected away from the crowded northern end of the lake, to provide lots of open space and comfort for learning. The spot has reliable thermal winds and marvelous lake view.

Wind Riders offers lessons of any skill level – from beginners to advanced kiteboarders. School is run by IKO qualified instructors and will focus on safety and ease of learning.
School is already equipped with full range of ABoards kiteboards – including perfect beginner and light wind boards – GLIDERs as well as surf board. Also more advanced boards including Z-series freeride/freestyle and X-series freestyle/wakestyle board will be available for test. Kites will be provided by BEST kiteboarding.
