SPI Kite Round-Up’09 ABoards Z-series long jump event

On the 2nd day of South Padre Island Kite Round-Up ABoards Z-series Long Jump contest was held. Competitors battled in 3 categories – men, women, masters. Putting out spectacular wipe-outs and setting powered up long distance marks in a fierce competition the winners were determined. This years prize 2009 model ABoards Kiteboarding Z-series freeride/freestyle board with SFLS Atmosphere went to Gary Rhodes!

SPI Kite Round-Up is a 10 days kite & fun dedicated event hosted in South Padre island that is a great kiting spot with flat water and wave spots located in close proximity (www.spikiteroundup.com). Event has become internationally recognized with participants from USA, Europe and other parts of the world.
